Coverage Types

 

 

Clicking on the Benefit Setup icon displays the Benefit - Setup [Plan] page.  

 

After Division Selection, select the Coverage Types tab, which provides for the creation of new coverages, or the editing/deletion of existing coverages. Coverage types specify who/what is covered under the specified Plan.

 

 

Selecting the Coverage Types tab displays a list of all current coverage types at the bottom of the page.

Edit/Delete Coverage Type

To edit an existing Coverage Type, click in the coverage row to display the Coverage details and make your changes. Click to undo any changes.

To delete a Coverage Type, click in the coverage row. The system will request confirmation.

Add Coverage Type

Select the name of the Plan No from the drop-down box.

 

(The Plan must already exist in the Current Plans list in the Plan tab.)

 

 

Select the Dependent Type(s) associated with the Plan No.  (The selections available depend on your settings in the LKL Dependent Type table.)

Enter the Coverage Type in the related text box.  Possible coverages include Employee (EE) Only, EE + Child, Family, Standard, etc.

 

 

Enter the Coverage Type Description in the related text box.

 

If there is an age limit for individuals under the plan, enter the Maximum Age that is covered.

 

If (dependent) students are covered under the plan, enter the Maximum Student Age that is covered.

 

Click to erase any entries.  

Click to store the new coverage. The system automatically populates the Created/Modified fields with the applicable user and date.
